My Greatest Journey’s is a direct marketing division of World Sports Alliance, Inc. of Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are a member in good standing of the National Tour Association, an industry association of professional tour companies committed to excellence. In addition, we maintain a multi-million dollar liability insurance policy for your protection.
It Began with A Passion for Travel
My Greatest Journey’s grew out of passion for travel that Founder and CEO, Wade Genova discovered as a competitive athlete, training for the Olympics, throughout the 1980’s. As a world class wrestler, he had the opportunity to travel to more than 20 countries for various competitions and training opportunities. His occasions to train with and make friendships with his foreign competitors provided him a closer and more personal look into cultures and lifestyles of the destinations he visited. Those experiences grew into a passion for travel.
After the conclusion of Wade’s competitive career, he was hired by USA Wrestling, a member of the United States Olympic Committee, were he managed the International Exchange Program. In that position, Wade was able to provide similar experiences to thousands of student wrestlers. Wishing to expand travel opportunities to athletes from other sports, Wade left USA Wrestling, after ten years, and founded World Sports Alliance.
The first World Sports Alliance tours focused on providing student athletes the opportunity to represent the United States in international competitions, while experiencing new cultures and visiting world famous and exciting destinations. With success in competitive sports travel, it was a natural progression, for World Sports Alliance, to begin offering tours to other student and active travel groups.
My Greatest Journey’s was created as a division of World Sports Alliance and specializes in providing all-inclusive travel packages to thrilling destinations worldwide. With our diverse clientele which includes student groups, sports teams, outdoor adventure enthusiasts, performance groups and individual travelers, we now offers travel packages to more than fifty countries on six continents.
