| Terms and Conditions for Travel with World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys
It the traveler is a minor (under 18 years), their parent or legal guardian must read and sign this agreement.
Receipt of your payment (deposit or full) by World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys toward any travel services constitutes a contractual arrangement between you and World Sports Alliance and represents your acceptance of World Sports Alliance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
How to Make Your Reservation: To make a reservation, contact World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys at (888) 972-8687.
Forms of Payments Accepted: We accept checks, money orders, Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express as well as other payment options offered through World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys.
Billing Errors: In the case of billing errors, we reserve the right to re-invoice with correct pricing.
Payment Terms for Land-only Tour Packages: A non-refundable deposit of $150 per traveler is required to reserve your space on any of our land-only tour packages. Space on a tour will not be confirmed until the deposit is actually received by World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys. Your deposit will apply toward your tour cost.
60 days prior to the tour start date 50% of the total tour cost is due.
45 days prior to the tour start date final payment is due.
Payment Terms for Air Inclusive Packages: A non-refundable deposit of $300 per traveler is required for us to reserve space for you on a tour. Space on a tour will not be confirmed until the deposit is actually received by World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys. Your deposit will apply toward your tour cost.
90 days prior to the tour start date 35% of the total tour cost is due.
60 days prior to the tour start date 70% of the total tour cost is due.
45 days prior to the tour start date 100% of the total tour cost is due.
Failure to meet payment deadlines: We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for failure to make payment on time as specified above. Removal from a tour, due to a late payment, will be treated by World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys as a Participant Cancellation and cancellation penalties will apply as indicated below.
Cancellation / Refunds: All cancellation requests must be in writing, and are in effect (24) hours after the date they reach our office. A notification of cancellation received on a Friday or over the weekend will be recorded as received the following business day. A participant may cancel from a tour prior to 60 days of departure and receive a full refund less his/her non-refundable tour deposit and any premium paid on travel insurance. If cancellation is recorded 60 days or less prior to the tour departure the following Cancellation Schedule applies.

World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys strongly encourages participants purchase optional travel insurance to protect their tour investment in the event of an unforeseen reason to cancel.
Revision Fees: A fee of $25 per transaction will be charged for any alteration or revision made to a reservation. Airline penalties may also apply. A change of name, travel dates, or itinerary will be treated as a cancellation and new reservation. Above listed cancellation fees apply.
Participation: For the benefit of everyone on your tour, World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys reserves the right to accept or reject any travel participant and to remove any participant at their own expense, from a tour in progress, whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the other participants.
Itinerary Changes: Sequence of events and places visited may change from the published itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. During local or national holidays, certain facilities such as museums and restaurants, sightseeing tours, and shopping may be limited or not available. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible.
Travelers Who Need Special Assistance: You must report any disability requiring special attention to World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys at the time the reservation is made. World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so, nor is it responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. Be aware that outside the U.S. the Americans with Disabilities Act is not applicable and facilities for disabled individuals are limited. Most transportation services, including motorcoaches, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. A qualified and physically able companion must accompany a traveler who will require special assistance, and must assume total responsibility for their well being.
Tour Price and Guarantee: All tour prices are based on rates (including foreign exchange rates) known at the time of publication and expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Prices are subject to increase without notice if such rates change prior to departure. The current price will be confirmed at the time of reservation. However, once World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys has received your deposit for any of our land only tour package that land price will be guaranteed, and any subsequent land-cost increases are at our expense, not including land surcharges and any government tax increases. For Air Inclusive Tour Packages, World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys will guarantee the tour price only after full payment has been made on that tour.
Tour Inclusions: Each tour will have its own list of inclusions which will be stated on the specific tour information sheet. International airfare, when included, will be from a designated gateway airport. Airport transfers, when included, will apply on the tour’s normal scheduled arrival and return dates (only). Ground transportation, tour guides, accommodations, meals, sightseeing excursions, are included only as indicated on your tour information sheet. Passport fees, laundry services, phone calls, items of a personal nature, excess baggage and baggage handling, optional tours and excursions, and tips (unless indicated) are not included.
Responsibility for Verifying Required Travel Documents and Entry Requirements: It is the traveler’s sole responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination or other entry requirements for each destination they will be traveling to. Since travel document requirements around the world change often, travelers should not assume that any information provided by World Sports Alliance is without the possibility of error. World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys shall not be responsible in any way for any refusal of entry, or delays of travel due to insufficient or unacceptable travel documents.
Responsibility: World Sports Alliance / My Greatest Journeys, located at 6672 Prairie Wind Dr. Colorado Springs. CO 80923 acts as a mere agent for suppliers in selling travel services or booking reservations for services not directly supplied by this company such as air, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, sports competitions etc. World Sports Alliance shall not be responsible for breach of contract, failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to travelers or travelers companions or groups members.
Assumption of Risk and Release from Liability: The traveler or parent or legal guardian of a minor traveling with this trip / tour, agrees to execute the separate Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risks, Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement and further agrees to all conditions contained therein on behalf of themselves or their minor child(ren). The traveler or parent or legal guardian of a minor traveler agrees that this release will be legally binding upon them self, their heirs, successors, assigns and legal representatives; it being their intention to fully assume all risk of travel and to release World Sports Alliance from any and all liabilities to the maximum permitted by law.
Any dispute between the traveler and the Company directly or indirectly relating to the Terms and Conditions shall be first submitted to mediation at Denver, Colorado, before a mediator mutually agreed to by the parties. If mediation is not successful, the dispute must be resolved by binding arbitration under Colorado law before a mutually agreed upon arbitrator. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees. Any action to enforce the arbitrator’s decision shall be brought in the state or federal courts in the State of Colorado.
